Hi Beautiful.

Due to various circumstances that can occur in our daily lives – we can sometimes make choices that are not necessarily the best fit for our health and can ultimately decrease our immunity – making our systems weaker. Luckily, we do know some simple ways that can help you boost your immune system and get your body to a higher energetic performance – here is a simple guide to get you started.

An amazing daily habit to start is to cut a few slices of organic lemon every morning, and place them in a tall – room temperature glass of filtered water. Drink this health tonic first thing in the morning and it will get your digestive system started as well as hydrate you and give you the dose of Vitamin C. It is good to know that our bodies don’t naturally create or store Vitamin C, so this is why we need to take it daily – either via food or supplements.

Good fruit options include Grapefruit, Oranges, Tangerines, Lemons, Limes, and Clementines. Feel free to eat them raw, in smoothies, juices, salads, anything – be creative! Want to know an extra way to boost your immunity with citrus? Pair it with raw ginger. Chew on it raw or make it into a tea – this is a super antioxidant combination.

Matcha green tea powder is one of the healthiest beverages in the world! It is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. It’s quite literally a super-food – with its high antioxidant content, particularly Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG) it assists your body’s production of T-Cells which reduces inflammation and fight pathogens. Matcha also has tons of chlorophyll (why the color is so green!) which helps detoxify the body from harmful toxins, chemicals, and heavy metals.  It also holds high levels of flavonoids and antioxidants which create a powerful anti-bacterial defense force.

We could keep going about this amazing plant – but you must try for yourself. Make a matcha tea at home, or you can even come to KASPACE Cafe and enjoy a delicious Matcha Latte. To add a bit of magic to this already magical vibe add some coconut manna to the mix. Either way, matcha up your life!

What we wear is just as important as what we put into our bodies, as our skin has the ability to absorb chemicals that are found in textiles. These chemical pollutants can suppress immune processes and cause increased development of infectious diseases. It’s important to stay away from fast-fashion and anything that could potentially have chemical coating as these items can have a harmful impact on our health and the environment.

Instead, opt for buying less and buying better. Do the research of the brands you are buying from and ultimately make better choices for you and your loved ones.  In the meantime, you can always count on the KA brand to be deep-rooted in this conscious fashion philosophy since we started in 1987.

It is so important for our bodies to live a healthy active and balanced lifestyle, and many who read this are already deep into yoga or meditation. But what if you don’t have this part of your life balanced-out? Or what if you are interested in super-charging your ability to connect to your higher self and become even stronger and healthier on a cellular level?

At KASPACE Toronto, we have introduced an incredible new system that can provide a full scan and evaluation of your body’s energetic use and overall performance. We also offer a brand new BrainTap guided meditative experience – which guides your mind from an awake, reactionary mind into an intuitive, creative state – then to a place where super-learning and healing can occur. The result is deep relaxation and stress reduction backed by neuroscience, that can help you get stronger and feel better.
