Interview with George – Toronto

Hey George how you doing today

It’s mid week. I’m a bit stressed. But taking 5 minutes to just breathe and not think about any- thing always wakes me up.

Where is Frankie

He’s probably waiting for me on his bed, which he usually drags to the front door of our home. This way he knows when I arrive.
I’m sure he’s found a couple of my socks and us- ing them as pillows.

What is your fashion color of choice

My go to color is something dark, mostly black. I like tiny details that are only visible when you look close. It also makes me very comfortable. People always think black is a lazy wear fabric, but thats not true. There nothing lazy about Yohji Yamamoto, Rick Owens or RAF.

Your shirt says it all Be You Till Full. What does that phrase mean to you
Our journey through life. For me, I don’t think I’ll ever be full. I’m sure it means something differ- ent for each of us.

How important are positive vibes in your life

Life is a journey of learning, a very short one. Positivity and giving back are things I cherish.

Which city in the world is your favorite fash- ion destination

It’s a toss-up. Paris inspires me the most I think. But Berlin is dark and full of adventure.
If you asked me that question in the late 90’s or early 2000s I would have said New York.

Thank you for always bringing the positive vibes to KA SPACE.
I love walking into that space. It’s like a vacuum of energy and inspiration. I see something dif- ferent every time.

It’s about your attention to detail.

Who is George.

I’m still trying to figure that out. If I knew I’d be bored. I love discovery and looking forward. But not forgetting what happened before I showed up.
